Planting the Leonardo UK Woodland

At Leonardo, we are committed to sustainability and creating shared value for all our stakeholders.​

Since 2024, we have planted over 12,000 saplings in the UK with Carma – a climate action provider that supports UK veterans. By doing so, we are helping restore habitats for nature, building climate resilience for communities, and creating skills and working days for ex-military personnel. This aligns with Leonardo's moral obligation to supporting UK military veterans and reservists.

Inspired by the ‘Plant a Tree’ initiative created by one of our UK suppliers – DL Group – we are now looking to extend this impact through our supply chain, encouraging others to support Carma's working by planting many more trees in the UK, so collectively we can 'Plant A Woodland' and create wider impact.​
