The UK Government’s Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy – 'Global Britain in a Competitive Age' – together with the Defence Command Paper (DCP) and Defence and Security Industrial Strategy (DSIS), set out how in partnership with industry, our armed forces can help the UK ‘build back better’ and supports a vision of a ‘Global Britain’.

Looking to the future, Leonardo is now working to address the requirements of the New Medium Helicopter due to replace the Puma by the middle of the decade and how, in collaboration with UK Government, this and other opportunities could lead to greater export success.

Levelling Up Impact Report

This report reveals the findings of an independent analysis conducted by the Purpose Coalition to evaluate the levers for levelling up at Leonardo in the UK, identifying areas where the business is taking this contribution a step further.

Leonardo employs over 8,500 people highly skilled people across the UK. We are one of the UK’s largest employers of engineering apprentices and graduates, investing around £3.5 million on employee training and development annually, and actively support STEM curricula.
