Guardian Vantage is a land-based Electronic Warfare (EW) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) capability, developed by Leonardo, that detects enemy emissions and uses them to accurately geolocate their position on the battlefield.

The modern battlefield means detecting, recognising, identifying, locating and defeating the enemy is increasingly complex, with successful operations shaped by how effectively forces can sense and understand the electromagnetic environment.

With over 60 years' experience designing and producing EW technology, Leonardo has helped protect armed forces across all domains. Guardian Vantage uses this pedigree, enabling operators to exploit their adversary’s use of the electromagnetic spectrum, leveraging this vulnerability to accurately pinpoint them and better understand their intent.

Friendly forces can use this information undetected, thanks to Guardian Vantage using only passive means to monitor their adversary, which could lead to further surveillance or target acquisition.

Platform agnostic, Guardian Vantage can be integrated onto a wide variety of vehicles and maritime platforms, and on static-site installations – dependent on customer needs. The system is also rapidly exportable, with no ITAR restrictions, and uses high-performance components and software from specialist small to medium enterprises (SMEs) CommsAudit, Esroe and Mercury – all manufactured in the UK.
