During IIP’s recent assessment of Leonardo, hundreds of employees provided feedback on the company’s people strategy, practices and outcomes. This led to an overall Gold standard, with some areas of the framework reaching Platinum level – IIP’s highest standard.
Leonardo UK People Director, Wendy Allen, said: “This new award recognises that we are on the right path and have made positive progress in all areas – including practices on resourcing, development, reward and retention – since our last assessment in 2021. By far the biggest contributor to our result is the approach demonstrated to people leadership and management by our people leaders.
“This result confirms that Leonardo’s drive for change is gaining momentum, and we will continue to focus on improving our people leadership and engagement practices throughout the company.”
