Leonardo UK has received a gold plaque to represent the company’s Gold Level for Investors in People’s (IiP) ‘We Invest in Wellbeing’ best practice standard at the inaugural Investors in People Celebration.
Anne McCluskey, Leonardo UK Senior People Business Partner, and Jane Saunders, Leonardo UK People Health and Wellbeing Manager, had the opportunity to speak at the IiP event in Glasgow and collect the plaque on behalf of the company, which was awarded in line with the IIP’s framework assessment. The accreditation follows Leonardo being assessed for Investors in People, Investors in Young People, and Investors in People ‘We invest in Wellbeing’.
Anne and Jane gave a presentation on Leonardo’s journey and experience working with the IiP framework and assessment.
Jane, who is also Chair of our employee-led Wellbeing network group, commented: “As we continue on our journey of the business embracing all aspects of wellbeing, we aim to promote an environment where our people’s wellbeing is integrated into day-to-day practices – where it is at the heart of what we do, rather than a separate process and approach.”
Eve Stewart, Leonardo HR graduate working at our Edinburgh site, is currently on a placement with the People Health and Wellbeing team. Speaking at the event, Eve added: “This has been a great opportunity to hear from organisations of all sizes and celebrate well-earned IiP awards. It is all about making work better for people.”
