The criteria by which the companies are ranked by LinkedIn is based on eight pillars that have been shown to lead to career progression: ability to advance; skills growth; company stability; external opportunity (jobs available); company affinity (integration of company culture); gender diversity; educational background (social mobility opportunities) and employee presence in the country.
Leonardo is the only company from the UK aerospace and defence sector to be included, and sits along international brands including AstraZeneca, PepsiCo, Apple, Lloyds Banking Group, Shell and Google.
Leonardo’s UK People Director, Wendy Allen, reflected on the achievement: “I am delighted that once again Leonardo has been recognised externally as an employer of choice in the UK. The criteria used to determine this rating highlights our focus in these areas. I am particularly pleased that ability to advance, skills growth and gender diversity have compared favourably to other large UK organisations. Thanks to everyone who contributes to our activity on LinkedIn through social media engagement or though building skills on LinkedIn Learning.”
