Leonardo listed in Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work for second year running

21 January 2026

Leonardo has been recognised in the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards 2026 as one of the Best Places to Work in the UK – for the second consecutive year.

The company has climbed the rankings significantly, moving from 47th place in 2025 to 31st in 2026.

Unlike other workplace awards, there is no self-nomination or application process; the list is comprised based entirely on feedback shared voluntarily and anonymously by UK employees on Glassdoor.

No self-nominations. No surveys. No pay-to-play. Just authentic reviews.

Year on year, Glassdoor evaluates reviews from current and former employees to determine which companies are performing best in terms of offering a welcoming and inclusive workplace that nurtures talent and provides an environment in which to development exciting and rewarding careers.

When employees submit reviews on Glassdoor, they are asked to share their opinions on some of the best reasons to work for their employer (pros) and any downsides (cons), and are encouraged to provide advice to management.

To be considered for the UK company list, a company must have received at least 30 ratings across each of Glassdoor’s nine workplace attributes (overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, senior management, work-life balance, recommend to a friend and six-month business outlook).

Against these criteria, Leonardo stands among the Top 50 listed UK companies with more than 1,000 employees – a testament to the positive lived experiences and sense of belonging of the 9,000+ people working across the company’s UK sites.

Wendy Allen, Leonardo UK People Director, commented: “To have Leonardo not only appear on the Glassdoor UK Best Places To Work Top 50 for the second year running, but also climb significantly in the ranking, is a fantastic way to start the new year.

“This award means so much to our business as it reflects the genuine views of our people and shows the steps we are taking together to make Leonardo a welcoming and rewarding place to pursue a career. With vacancies available across the country, we hope to see many more people using Glassdoor to discover more about Life at Leonardo.”
