The growth process to produce DLATGS crystal material (deuterated L-alanine doped triglycene sulphate) was developed by Leonardo in the 1970s, and unrivalled manufacturing and engineering skills have since enabled the business to become the high volume producer of exceptional quality detectors that it is today.
DLATGS detectors are pyroelectric and can be operated uncooled or with temperature stabilisation and are supplied in a range of element sizes, with options for window filter material, hermetic sealing, parylene coating, electrical configuration and performance characteristics. All standard build pyroelectric detectors are EU RoHS compliant.
