Building upon its extensive experience delivering solutions for border protection and working closely with Coast Guard organisations around the world, Leonardo participated in the Coast Guard Capability Conference on 29 September 2021, with the event focusing on Interoperability, Search and Rescue, Border Security and Resource Protection.

Leonardo's Head of Naval & Underwater Defence Systems Business Development, Marco Fani, and Head of Product Sales Support & Partnership, Nicola Toniazzi, also co-presented a webinar about full maritime domain awareness as a prerequisite for effective mission accomplishment in an extremely diverse range of operations.

A special focus was dedicated to Airborne and Surface integration of sensors, platforms, systems and Small calibre High-end Performance Weapon Stations for Law enforcement.
