Armed Forces Network Group

Leonardo's Armed Forces network group connects and supports our veterans, reservists and military family colleagues and communities. Additionally, it assists new employees as they transition from military to civilian life. For the wider Leonardo UK business, the group helps enhance our collective sense of pride in being part of UK and allied defence, through sharing stories from our veterans, reservists and military families.

During 2024, Leonardo’s Armed Forces network group is marking the following events:

  • Armed Forces Week (24-29 June) including Reserves Day (26 June) and Armed Forces Day (29 June)
  • National Inclusion Week (23-29 September)
  • Armistice Day (11 November)

Leonardo is committed to honouring our Armed Forces Covenant and supporting the Armed Forces Community. Our support is long-standing and dates back to before the consolidation of our business.

Leonardo was named in the top 50 Great British Employers of Veterans, which showcases the leading Forces-friendly employers in the UK and what they offer to military veterans.

We work with the CTP to provide veterans with support they need to find civilian jobs after leaving the Armed Forces.
