Members of IAEG recognise that there are currently a wide variety of laws and regulations that impact on the health of the environment worldwide. To address this, the group is working to promote the development of a set of voluntary environmental standards that offer accessible solutions for key environmental issues.
As a full member of IAEG, Leonardo takes an active role in the leadership and participation of members in the various working groups, with representatives from across the divisions and geographies in which Leonardo operates. In June 2023, Leonardo joined several other primes by selecting the IAEG Sustainability Assessments powered by EcoVadis.
EcoVadis is a voluntary programme that aims to accelerate sustainability performance across the aerospace and defence industry and its extended supply chain.
