Material Services
The Material Services team within Leonardo UK’s helicopters business delivers spares, repaired and overhauled parts, and/or quotations to customers, through effective material planning and supply.

We aim to provide a dynamic, flexible and agile material service to support customer fleets and the assembly line at the Home of British Helicopters within the framework of our company commitments, performance metrics and compliance to any regulatory or quality requirements.

Our key activities include:

  • The timely supply and delivery of parts, kits, spares and Repair & Overhauled (R&O) items to customers around the world, including to UK MOD Main Operating Bases (MOB) and  Worldwide Coupling Bridges
  • Deliver to agreed Required Delivery Dates (RDDs) and Contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (including Delivery Scheduled Adherence (DSA) and Aircraft Availability and Serviceability)
  • Inventory management of UK MOD customers ‘In Scope’ spares and R&O items in support of Integrated Operational Support (IOS) contracts
